One benefice, three wonderfully different expressions of church.
St Francis is a busy, vibrant, lively, multigenerational city church with a strong missional instinct. St Lawrence is a beautiful, traditional village church, a spiritual anchor and community hub for its parish. Hope Church is a church plant, meeting in the community centre of a growing housing estate, welcoming all ages and currently shaped by a community of young families.
We are looking for a mission focused vicar with proven strategic, leadership and communication skills, able to bridge generations and worship styles. One who is keen for a challenge as we move forward into a new era, working collaboratively as a benefice, building upon a Mission Action Plan and a Mission Hub bid, developing new ways to make Jesus known in our communities and beyond, partnering with Him in ushering in His Kingdom.
Salisbury is a delightful, thriving medieval city, with excellent schools and transport links, just under an hour from the south coast.
