The final diocesan synod of the current three year period met in Salisbury to worship together and thank those who are stepping down after – in some cases – decades of membership.

Eleven new priests and eleven deacons were ordained in services over the weekend, with one priest who has waited 14 years after her diocese voted against ordination of women to be ordained in Jersey this evening
