Pilgrims walk the St Wite Way

A group of pilgrims walked the St Wite Way in West Dorset last weekend, accompanied by Bishop Stephen. They scaled Golden Cap – the highest point on the Jurassic Coast – before climbing down to collect water from St Wite’s well, which Bishop Stephen blessed. Read more here.


Biker Church ride in memory of a TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). 

Earlier this year we brought you news of 'Biker Church', a collective of 10 bikers in the diocese who found that they connected best with God while riding. Last month, a total of sixteen bikers rode in memory of a TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Read more here.

Exploring your vocation

Many gathered online last month for the first series of special diocesan events focusing on vocations. Exploring the breadth of ministry and calling with input from The Church Army, Poole Missional Communities, and the diocesan vocations team. They are hosting two more in June, featuring a host of engaging speakers, and invited people considering their vocation to meet our vocations advisors and ask questions. Read more here...

All of Bride Valley PCCs together under one roof!

The Bride Valley Benefice Council held their AGM on Monday, nothing unusual about that, but for the first time they conducted a really successful experiment bringing all the Bride Valley PCCs together under one roof, for a presentation about where they all were as churches in view of 'Your kingdom come, here and now'.
