Many gathered online last month for the first series of special diocesan events focusing on vocations. Exploring the breadth of ministry and calling with input from The Church Army, Poole Missional Communities, and the diocesan vocations team.
The Vocations team's Exploring Vocations series aims to empower and encourage people from all walks of life to explore lay or ordained ministry.
They are hosting two more in June, featuring a host of engaging speakers, and invited people considering their vocation to meet our vocations advisors and ask questions.
The Revd Karen Hutchinson, Lay Ministry Development Officer, said: "We had a full screen of people last month, with an overview of some of the options open to those seeking to discern God’s call on their lives. Next week we will dive deeper into two particular options, ordained ministry and Licenced Lay Ministry. We'd love to see you there!"
