As we prepare to enter the season of Passiontide and prepare ourselves for the solemnity of Holy Week and the joy of Easter, we find Sudan and South Sudan in probably the most desperate state that I can recall in more than 25 years of our 50 year plus partnership, writes Ian Woodward

On Sunday 2nd February, Christ Church Creekmoor celebrated it’s 40th Anniversary in style, when both congregations joined together along with visitors from the past, to celebrate over 5000 acts of worship within the church.
All of last week, until 14 February, St Mary’s Church, Redlynch (known as Lover church) was open between 10am and 4pm to show thanks for those you love and who have loved you, and to spend quiet time in prayer and reflection.
Peter has been playing the organ for over 50 years at the church.
