Cycle of Prayer 7-13 September 2026

Reading this week's prayers is Humberto Henderson. Humberto is the Curate of the Team Shaftesbury Benefice. He is a lawyer and a former Senior United Nations Officer, after decades of work in different parts of the world. He is coming from the Diocese in Europe, where he was worshipping at Holy Trinity Church in Geneva, Switzerland. Humberto is a member of the Ecclesiastical Law Society (ELS) based in London.

Reading this week's prayers is Pip Sanday. Pip is Families Discipleship Lead and Lay Pioneer at St James, Devizes, and volunteers as a Waterways Chaplain on the Kennet & Avon Canal.

Cycle of Prayer 24-30 August

Reading this week's prayers is Neil Traynor. Neil was installed as Canon Treasurer of Salisbury Cathedral in April 2026. He is responsible for the care and conservation of the Cathedral’s fabric, treasures and estates, while supporting its work in sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Cycle of Prayer 17-23 August 2026

Reading this week's prayers is Rob Sawdy. Rob joined the wonderful Jonathan Still in the benefice of Cerne Abbas as associate priest at Easter and is really enjoying getting to know the parishioners and communities of our four villages and a new diocese. Rural ministry is a contrast to Bournemouth, where he served as chorister, parish warden, ordinand and curate in town centre and Winton, Moordown and Charminster parishes.

Reading this week's prayers is Jenny Nelson. Jenny is the Rector of Holy Trinity, Westwood and Wingfield in Bradford on Avon, and Assistant Rural Dean of the Bradford Deanery. She is married to Howard and has two adult children. Jenny is passionate about welcoming and nurturing people from all walks of life. She has a deep love of Jesus Christ and all people, as well as a passion for the arts, particularly music. She enjoys seeing how creativity and community can bring people of all ages together, including children and families.

Reading this week's prayers is Nick Wells. Nick is the Vicar of St Mark's, Talbot Village and St Saviours Wallisdown. He is married to the Rev Ruth, lead multi-faith Chaplain at Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth, and they are parents to one adult, one teenager and one child.

Reading this week's prayers is Norma Fergusson, who thought she was retired but is now Rector of Rowde and Bromham - the Benefice to which she was ordained as priest in 2012.

Reading this week's prayers is Katie Jackson, Katie is Rector of North Bradford on Avon and Villages. She has a passion for children and families, youth and schools ministry and loves spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.

Reading this week's prayers is Jake Eggertsen, Jake is the Rector of St James' Trowbridge and St Leonard's Keevil, as well as Rural Dean of Bradford.

Cycle of Prayer 6-12 July 2026

Reading this week's prayers is Keli Bolton. Keli is the Head of Growing Younger, responsible for supporting mission and ministry with the younger and missing generations, offering training, resources, bespoke support and networking, whether clergy, paid worker/minister or volunteer. Keli’s role is funded by National Church as part of the Diocesan Improvement Programme (DIP).
