Suzy works closely with the police, local authorities, and other bodies, undertakes safeguarding casework on behalf of the Diocese and provides advice and support to clergy, lay staff and parishes.

Jem Carter 

Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor 

Jem works closely with the police, local authorities, and other bodies, undertaking safeguarding casework on behalf of the Diocese and Salisbury Cathedral. Jem provides advice and support to the Bishop, clergy, lay staff, and parishes.

Christine Robinson-Yu 

Safeguarding Support Officer 

Christine develops and facilitates effective systems for Parish Safeguarding Representatives to use as they implement a range of measures to prevent abuse taking place in their contexts. She is a key point of contact for the Safeguarding Dashboard, Hubs and Church of England safeguarding policies.

Tracie Hancock 

Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor

Tracie's responsibilities involve providing support and safeguarding advice to our parishes across the Diocese, as well as carrying out investigations into live concerns.

She also has lead responsibility for providing safeguarding support and advice to the island of Jersey and more locally to Sarum Theological College.

Safeguarding Administrator

Katie supports the administrative function of the safeguarding team including processing Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, Microsite troubleshooting, assisting Parish Safeguarding Officers, and administering governance meetings. Additionally facilitating the safeguarding training
