In Conversation with Dean Richard Sewell/ Justice Network

To encourage conversation and deepen understanding, we hope to offer two webinars exploring perspectives on the conflict in Gaza. Our first will be an interview with the Dean of Jerusalem, the Very Revd Canon Richard Sewell. The interview will be live, 18:30 on 11 September on Zoom.

The Archbishop of Jerusalem, the Most Revd Hosam Naoum, addressed general synod on Gaza earlier this month. Watch his powerful address.

The second event will be a panel discussion involving a range of speakers. More details on this second webinar will be confirmed in early September. The webinars are being organised by Seeing Differently, a justice network, an informal network of clergy and lay people in the diocese.

To express an interest in attending the webinars, please email justice@salisbury.anglican.org and you will receive a link to the zoom call.

If you would like to be part of the network, which meets for shared learning and reflection every two months, email katharine.robinson@salisbury.anglican.org

The Archbishop of York, together with the Bishops of Southwark, Gloucester, Chelmsford and Norwich, have responded to the Prime Minister’s announcement on recognizing a Palestinian state. Read the statement.
