Shrove Tuesday celebrations

The team from Harnham St George's All Saints', the Revd Becky and Revd Sophie, had great fun as part of the Salisbury Foodbank's annual Pancake Day race, raising awareness and money for the work of the foodbank. (above)

The Wimborne Minster Pancake Race was held outside the Minster. The race, now in its 28th year, saw over 130 runners across 34 races.

Among the 31 adult runners was the rector, the Revd Canon Andrew Rowland, the curate, the Revd Marianne Mangham, the wife of the organist, Heather Davey, and the facilities manager, Martin Smith. Heather won the heat and progressed to the final!

A collection taken for the Minster Funds raised £334.29!
