Monday 29 December: St Bartholomew, Chalke Deanery 

Loving God, 

We pray today for the St Bartholomew benefice. We ask for your blessing on their faithful ministry to the local community. We raise to you the Revd Kate McFarlane. 

We pray for Semley Primary School.

Tuesday 30 December: Western Downland, Chalke Deanery 

Almighty God,  

We raise to you all who live in and worship in the benefice of Western Downland, and we ask for your blessing on the ministry of the Revd Les Player. 

In our prayers for schools, we raise to you Western Downland Primary School.

Wednesday 31 December: Mothers’ Union 

Loving God,  

We pray today for the Mothers’ Union, asking for your blessing upon them and the vital work they do. 

We pray for your blessing upon Sandra Gamble, Jenny Harrison and the Chaplain, Jacqui Clark. 

In our prayers for our link diocese, we give thanks for the Rt Revd Gabriel Kuol Garang, Bishop of Wernyol in South Sudan.

Thursday 1 January: Naming and Circumcision of Jesus 

Heytesbury Deanery 

As today we reflect upon the naming of Jesus, 

Living Lord, 

We pray for your blessing on the communities of Heytesbury and for the ministry of the Rural Dean, Clifford Stride, Assistant Rural Dean, Lorraine Dobbins, Lay Chair, Henry Collins. We pray for all who worship in this community.

Friday 2 January: Cley Hill Villages, Heytesbury Deanery 

Loving Lord, 

We raise to you in prayer the people and community of Cley Hill Villages. We pray for all in this place that they may be refreshed and blessed in their ministry. 

We pray for the pupils, families and staff of Crockerton and Chapmanslade Primary Schools.

On the second Sunday of Christmas, we pray:

We pray for your blessing on the community of Upper Stour with Maiden Bradley and raise to you the Revd Graham Southgate. May your peace be felt by all who enter this place and your presence known. 

We pray for the schools, Bourton St George's School and Whitesheet Primary Academy. 

In our prayers for the Anglican Communion, we pray for the Church of the Province of Central Africa.
