The team is responsible for governance and pastoral planning at every level of the Diocesan structure as well as implementing the vision strategically.

Elizabeth Harvey
Director of Finance and Operations
Elizabeth leads and manages the Parish Support and Finance team. Working with parishes, she seeks to ensure the team are adapting and learning to respond to the changing context and needs of those we seek to serve.

Jussi Vuorela
Technology Manager
Jussi leads the Technology team responsible for the all aspects of development, optimisation and daily operations of technology & IT within DBF. His role covers also development of various policies and process related to technology, cybersecurity and Business Continuity.

Systems Change Coordinator
Jennie provides management to major projects by providing support to develop, integrate and maximise organisational systems and processes to enable successful connections to our church communities.

Richard Peacock
IT Support Officer
Richard is responsible for the Diocesan IT network and software operations, ensuring that the DBF and staff fully utilise the benefits of it. The role has particular administrator responsibilities for Microsoft SharePoint and bespoke contact management databases.

Charles Baker
Data and Information Management Officer
Charles manages the diocesan databases to ensure effective data flow and integrations between systems, to improve information and insight across the DBF and diocese.
Governance
Miriam Longfoot
Governance and Pastoral Planning Manager
Miriam is the pastoral and patronage secretary and assists parishes with Church Representation Rules (including electoral roll, elections and APCMs), general governance queries, data protection and GDPR. Miriam oversees processes relating to the Mission and Pastoral Measure and the Board of Patronage.

Joanne Sandall-Ball
Parish Services Senior Administrative Secretary (PA to the Directors)
Jo provides secretarial and administrative support to the Diocesan Secretary (CEO) of the Diocesan Board of Finance (DBF) and the Leadership Team including diary coordination and planning, correspondence, and servicing meetings. Jo also assists with the servicing of key governance meetings like Diocesan Synod and Bishop’s Council.

Governance Support Officer and Pastoral Secretary
Katharine provides administrative support on governance activities, including the service of the Diocesan Missional and Pastoral Committee and sub-committees and the pastoral consultation processes.
