Lord God
We raise to you Weymouth & Portland Deanery and its Rural Dean: Nick Clarke and assistant Rural Dean: James Menzie and. Lay Chair: Neil Biles. We pray for your blessing on their work with refugees on the barge and in the wider community. We pray for the strategic planning for the Deanery for the next 5 to 7 years. And we give thanks for new appointments; Rev Juliet Stephenson (Holy Trinity) and John Mackenzie (Wyke Regis).

Father God,
We pray today for Radipole and Melcombe Regis with Chickerell, Weymouth & Portland Deanery and its Clergy: Nick Clarke, Jo Haine, Tom Coopey, Dan Harland, Anni Douglas, Malcolm Millard, John Lewis, Richard Simmons, Geoff Hebbern, Paul Selley, Peter Gibbs. We lift to you the ministry of Licensed Lay Ministers: Carl Whitehouse, Richard Pendrey, Donna Smith, Shirley Evans-Jones., and Town Centre Chaplain: Neil Biles and Youth Pioneer Minister: Joe Hobday. * We give thanks for many children and young people growing in faith and coming forward for baptism. * We pray for the Parish as Team Rector, Nick Clarke retires in the middle of February; for the recruitment process. In our prayers today we raise to you Weymouth Holy Trinity, Weymouth & Portland Deanery and its Clergy: Juliet Stephenson. We thank you for the ministry of churchwardens Philippa and Trudi. We pray as explore what it means to be an Inclusive church and for the outreach and mission in local community, with the RNLI in this 200th year of their existence, and for the church school and its head teacher Fiona Daykin. We lift to you the staff and pupils of Weymouth Holy Trinity CE VC Primary School In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Rt Revd Onesimo Lado Yugusuk, Bishop of Lomega in South Sudan.

May we all be renewed in the spirit or charity, prayer, and service and so promote the spread of the Gospel in the parish and beyond. May our students, teachers, staff find Christ, his love and truth, through their daily search for what is true and good. On the Baptism of Christ
We pray today for Weymouth Ridgeway, Weymouth & Portland Deanery and its Clergy: James Menzies, Philip Elliott, Ada Whittock, Brian Ellis. We lift before you licensed lay ministers: Tony King, Alan Macintosh, Sue Le Riche, Georgie Menzies, and LLM emeritus: Andrew Mills. We pray that Christ would be exalted in our churches and ministry, for growth and fruitfulness in discipleship- and people coming to faith in Jesus. We raise before you the children and young people in the deanery, and ask you to guide their spiritual growth, and bless outreach.
