Last week, Bishop Stephen was welcomed to Wimborne Deanery for a tour. The first stop was Wimborne St Giles CofE First School, where he shared in worship, talked to Spiderman, heard the story of Goldilocks and received letters from the pupils.
The bishop was then shown around Sturts Farm, West Moors in the sunshine, and told about the collaboration between Sturts Farm, St Mary’s Church and St Mary’s CofE First School, as a Community Group.
To end the day, there was time for conversation and meet people at The Beacon Café at St Mary’s, Ferndown, including meeting the volunteer lollipop man, at The Lantern, Merley!
