Churches across the diocese are open for people to light a candle, sign a book of condolence, or sit quietly and reflect on the life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Some churches will also be holding special commemorative or thanksgiving services to enable local communities to remember Her Majesty's life. You can find details to some of these services below.

Bishop’s Services
Salisbury Cathedral, Sunday 18 September, multiple times.
Bishop Stephen, Bishop of Salisbury, and Bishop Andrew, Bishop of Ramsbury, are preaching at two key services marking the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Salisbury Cathedral this Sunday.
Bishop Andrew will preach at the 10. 30 Eucharist - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926–2022: A Service of Holy Communion
Bishop Stephen will preach at 16.30 - A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022
All are welcome to join. Doors open at 15.45.
Both services will also be live streamed for those who are unable to attend.

The Funeral service will be shown on a large screen and seating will be available in the Nave. All those wishing to come to the screening should enter via the North Porch.
