Pewsey Deanery have been making Jesus known to 300 school children from years 5 and 6 from 11 church and non-church schools this week through the Life Exhibition.
Supplied by Counties, a Westbury based charity, and staffed by volunteers from our churches, it is a powerful multimedia interactive exhibition on the life of Jesus, based around three ‘zones’ on his life, teaching, and miracles, with an introductory film and one at the end on his death and resurrection.
It is based around the national curriculum and teachers are full of praise for it. One said that it was “very engaging, thought provoking and will lead to further discussion in school while pupils said “ It was really fun”, and “It was very good. I like the music and videos.”
This is the third time Pewsey have hosted it. The Revd Mark Windsor, who organised the exhibition in St John’s Pewsey said “In the eleven years I have been here it is some of the best ministry I have been involved in.”
