Monday 11 November – Clare Kent 

Compassionate God 

Today we give thanks for the communities of Wylye and Till Valley and pray for all who work and live there. We raise to you the clergy and lay leaders in this place and ask for your blessing on their ministry, that they may continue to step out courageously in your service. 

We pray too for the pupils, staff and families of Great Wishford CE VA Primary School. 

As we lead up to Safeguarding Sunday, we pray especially for all parish safeguarding officers, that their vital ministry may be blessed by you.

Tuesday 12 November - Julie Bulpitt 

Jesus, Our Saviour 

In your name we pray for the communities of Avon River Team. For the people who live and work there, and those who minister to them. We thank and praise you for your blessing on them.

Wednesday 13 November - Ruth Abernethy 

Everlasting Lord 

We pray to you today for the people who live and work and pray in the benefice of Salisbury Plain. May you bless those who lead and serve. We remember particularly today all those who are grieving, that they may know your presence and your peace in their time of sorrow. 

We give thanks for the staff, pupils and families of

We pray for The Rt Revd Seme Nigo Abinda, Bishop of Panyana in  South Sudan. 

We pray for those who organise and take part in the ministry of Safeguarding training across our diocese.

Thursday 14 November - Stella Wilkes 

Loving Lord Jesus, 

In our prayers today, we hold before you all those who live in the benefice of Ludgershall and Tidworth. We pray that you would fill within that community with your Holy Spirit and guide them with your love. 

 

We pray God for the Diocesan Safeguarding Team, that they would be blessed with your peace in their daily work.

Friday 15 November - Anji Scofield 

Almighty God, 

We give you thanks and praise for the clergy, lay leaders, PCC members and all who serve in churches across our diocese. We ask that you would fill them with Your wisdom, love and joy today and sustain them through challenge. We pray you will guide them in their vital ministry of safeguarding, today and always. 

 And as our days shorten and nights darken, we pray you would draw very near to all those who need comfort at this time. Amen 

 

Saturday 16 November – Eddie Sims 

Dear God, 

We pray today for Your abundant blessing on the communities in the benefice of Wilton with Netherhampton and Fugglestone and all who lead and worship there.  
We thank you for the schools of 

Wilton CE Primary School 

Sarum Academy and all who study and work there. We pray that you would you shine Your light on them today. In the name of Jesus. 

As we prepare for Safeguarding Sunday, we thank you for the National Safeguarding Team and all the work they do to ensure that everyone is safe in our churches.

Sunday 17 November – Dawn Evans 

Living Lord, today, the second Sunday before advent and  this Safeguarding Sunday, we thank you for the ministry of all Parish and Church Safeguarding officers who work hard to keep our churches safe. We also pray for the diocesan safeguarding team, that they would continue to feel Your guidance in their work. 

We pray for all victims and survivors and all those who support them.
