Our Lord and our God,
Thank you Father for the Dean of Jersey, The Very Revd Mike Keirle We give thanks for a full complement of Clergy in the Deanery for the first time in six years and for the new Clergy in St. Mary, St Martin and St. Peter as they settle in. Please pray for Jersey’s own discernment process of "Making Jesus known" as we contextualise the wider Diocesan vision for our Island with its particular needs in the coming months. In November we also celebrate the first anniversary of the formal welcome given to Jersey in Salisbury Cathedral at an Evensong a year ago and we give thanks for the ever deepening relationship with our attachment to the Diocese. Please pray especially for the wider community as we grapple with the major issue of "Assisted Dying" in the political arena, as it will come before Jerseys parliament in the new year. In our Anglican Cycle of Prayer: we pray for The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion)
Amen
