Lord God, 

Thank you for the community of Melksham, and its Clergy: Charlie Thomson, Francis Moloney, Annie Wintour. We pray for Licensed Lay Minister: Celia Shill. We raise to you the 'Building To Serve' reordering project;  the home groups and Lay Pastoral Assistant team;  Sunday Club and Youth Alpha; that in all things we would be ‘Making Jesus Known’ in Melksham! 

We pray your blessing upon the pupils, families and staff of

Father, 

We pray for the community of Studley St John, and their Clergy: Alastair Wood. And Licensed Lay Minister: Mike Bridges. We pray for the benefice as it enters vacancy. We pray that the right person will be apparent at the right time to lead the benefice next. We also pray for Alastair as he starts his new role in Peterborough diocese. In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: We pray for the Rt Revd Elizabeth Awut Ngor, Assistant Bishop of Rumbek in South Sudan. Amen

In our prayers today Lord, we raise to you the communities of Corpus Christi Canalside Benefice, in Bradford Deanery and their clergy, Joy Albone. 

We pray for all in our parishes as we continue to work together in unity to support our communities in this time of vacancy. We pray for the appointment of a new incumbent, that they may be the person chosen by God to join us in this place.  Also pray for all the lay leaders of the parishes, wardens, Lay Pastoral Assistants and Lay Worship Leader’s and many others, as they continue their shared ministry among us.

Dear Lord, 

on this day of the Visit of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Elizabeth, we pray for the communities of Trowbridge St James and Keevil, and their Clergy: Jake Eggertsen., their Children and Families worker: Nick Lambert and for Licensed Lay Minister in training: Helen Pickett. We pray for Nick Lambert, recently appointed as the Children and Families Ministry Leader, and for the Holiday Club ("Restoration Station") this week, that through its activities more will come to know Jesus. We lift to you the pupils, staff and families of Keevil CE VA Primary School

Reading this week's prayers is Craig Bain. 'I'm Craig, a final year ordinand. I'm married to Hannah, have 2 children and 2 foster children. We're very excited to be joining Christ Church Warminster where I will serve my curacy, joining with the congregation in making Jesus known.'

Lord Jesus, 

We pray for the community of Trowbridge St Thomas and West Ashton, and its Licensed Lay Ministers: Martyn Whittock, Angela Grist, Judy Wright. We pray for Allan Coutts, retiring this month after 25 years as Vicar of St Thomas’ and St John’s, and for the 3 congregations as they begin the vacancy.  May God already be preparing the next Incumbent for this rewarding role.

On today, the First Sunday after Trinity 

We pray for North Bradford on Avon and Villages and its Clergy: Katie Jackson, Tessa Mann, Paul Batson, Tim Hawkings and Bernard Hughes. We thank you for the ministry of Children's worker: Zoe Yeomans, Lay Worship Leaders: Cedric Pierce, Penny Pierce and Alison Wells. 

We pray for the benefice of North Bradford and Villages as they enter a new season together, with Katie having just joined the team as Incumbent. We pray that we all will find space to listen; to each other, to our communities and to God, as we discern his will for this next stage of the journey. 

We lift to you in prayer the pupils, staff and families of Bradford on Avon Christ Church CE VC Primary School and Winsley CE VC Primary School
