Reading this week's prayers is Gerald Osborne. Gerald is Rural Dean of Pewsey as well as Associate Priest in the Vale of Pewsey Team and also on Bishop’s Council. He has learned the Gospel of Mark by heart has recited it in performance with Colin Heber-Percy in the diocese and over the country. He has recently retired from farming and is married to Emma.

Thank you for St Martin, Guernsey Deanery and its Clergy: Daniel Foot. We pray for St Martins Church, Guernsey, as we prepare to launch our new family ministry - Bubble Church.

We pray for those who seek shelter, especially for those are homeless, hungry or in need of comfort.

We pray your blessing upon Holy Trinity, Guernsey Deanery and its Clergy: Jon Honour, currently on sabbatical. We pray for the church community as we seek to discern what it means to be a church that actively waits on divine action. We pray for the gift of discernment, for our Licensed Lay Ministers Bryan, Sarah and Eileen and also pray for the wider staff team. In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: We pray for the Rt Revd Gabriel Angok Arok, Assistant Bishop in Nimule, South Sudan.

Lord Jesus,
Thank you for St Stephen, Guernsey Deanery and its Clergy: Joe Thompson, John Luff. We pray that God continues to guide us as we look to rebuild the parish following three years of vacancy. We pray for the family ministry to take hold and to see the introduction of younger adults into the mainstream life of the Church. We pray for our aging congregation and especially for those who are struggling with dementia. We ask for God's blessing to be on all at St Stephen's and for the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of those outside of the Church that they may be drawn in through our loving service.

We raise to you St Saviour and Torteval, Guernsey Deanery and its Clergy: Mark Charmley, Tracy Charmley, Linda le Vasseur. Licensed Lay Minister: Sarah-Jane Allen. We pray for the “Ignite” youth group trip next month to Lihou, just off the coast of Guernsey for our annual weekend away.
