The cost of being Church
Diocesan Synod approved the budget for 2024. For the first time in years, the budget does not plan for a deficit but sets out the real cost of being Church in the diocese. Due to inflation over the last 12 months, it is increasing by up to eight percent, thought the rise will be tapered for those church communities which have experienced the greatest drop in worshippers since Covid.
