Reading this week's prayers is Mandy Cook. "I am a retired Primary School teacher with a specialism in Special Educational Needs. I live in a small rural village in the north of the Diocese enjoying the outdoors and nature in all it’s seasons and like to walk, cycle and ride my horse in all weathers. I enjoy community village life and now concentrate on pastoral work, collective worship in schools and spiritual development as part of my Lay Ministry."
Reading this week's prayers is Jamie Pritchard. ‘Jamie serves as the Worship & Creative Pastor at the Lantern Church, Merley. He is passionate about creating spaces for people to encounter the God that loves them through sung worship both inside and outside the four walls of the Church. Jamie is the proud husband to Beth, and Dad to Ziggy, Ruby-Wild, and Indigo. Jamie records and releases his own songs, songs of testimony, worship and prayer and you can listen to them wherever you find your music.’
Reading this week's prayers Beverley Linnecor. Beverley is the Lay Pastoral Assistant and Anna Chaplain, St Michel du Valle (Vale Parish Church). Beverley says “I live on the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. I enjoy sea swimming and aim to do it all year round although sometimes the weather takes over! I love walking in all parts of the island as it provides very different landscapes and views. I now have the best excuse to continue that through the winter, as I have just become the owner of a gorgeous black Labrador age 3 months”.
Reading this week's prayers is Susanna Snyder. The Revd Dr Susanna Snyder is Programme Leader for Short Courses and Director of Research at Sarum College in Salisbury.
Reading this week's prayers is Matt Lee. Matt is the assistant minister at St John's Church, Wimborne. He really believes the Bible is true. He and Becky have 3 children, and they enjoy cycling and making dens.
The Revd Canon Roger Powell is Rector of The Ridgeway Benefice (three rural parishes on the Marlborough Downs), Rural Dean of Marlborough and an honorary Canon of Salisbury Cathedral. Roger has just been appointed as one of two new Assistant Archdeacons in the diocese. His interests outside of the church are theatre and travel.
Reading this week's prayers is Chris Beaumont. Chris is Priest in Charge of Blandford Forum. Chris is husband to Cat, Father of 3 children, and has recently bought a kayak to use on the River Stour which runs through Blandford as a way of decompressing from work and ministry.
Reading this week's prayers is Sarah-Jane, Sarah Jane is a Licensed lay minister in Guernsey.
Reading this week's prayers is David Pain. David is Diocesan Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Diocesan Board of Finance. In his spare time, David love's cooking for friends and family, live music, walking and cycling.
Reading this weeks prayer diary is Olatunde Adebambo, who works as the HR, Learning & Development Manager for the Diocese. He loves God and he is committed to doing his own bit for the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
