Team Rector Upper Wylye Valley Team Benefice

We are prayerfully seeking a new Team Rector with a calling to rural ministry: come and walk alongside us through the eight adjacent villages of the beautiful Upper Wylye Valley, in South-West Wiltshire.

We can offer you:

●   Welcoming, active communities with a supportive team that includes an experienced associate priest, a House-for Duty post, a Licensed Lay Minister and other commissioned ministries.
●   Significant administrative support.
●   A modern, four-bedroom Rectory in a pleasant village location.
●   A part-time Team Secretary.
●   Life in an area of outstanding natural beauty, but within easy reach of the cities of Salisbury and Bath, and good local primary and secondary schools.

We would like our Team Rector to:

●   Encourage and help us to grow in the love of God and to deepen our faith and Christian life.
●   Enable us to work together across the benefice to sustain and develop our existing ministries.
●   Have some understanding of the joys and challenges of a multi-parish rural benefice.
●   Be willing to actively develop our existing good links with our three Church Primary schools.
●   Enjoy being part of the wider social life of our villages and help and encourage us to be a visible presence of God’s love in the Upper Wylye Valley.

Contact the Archdeacon of Sarum on 01722 438662 or  lynne.archer@salisbury.anglican.org for application details.
