Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust - Ride & Stride Coordinator

WHCT is seeking a volunteer to take over as its Ride & Stride Coordinator from the incumbent when he stands down in 2026. The intention is that the successful applicant would shadow the process through the 2026 event and take over the role thereafter.

Ride & Stride is the Trust's annual fundraising event, taking place on the second Saturday of September each year. Funds raised are split evenly between the Trust and the church of the sponsored participant. The Coordinator's busy period is between August and the following January, and most of the work can be done from home. Computer literacy is important, particularly in the use of email and MS Excel and, to a lesser extent, WordPress website management software. The Coordinator is paid a small honorarium, the size of which is currently under review.
