Could you be our new Treasurer?
Our Treasurer is retiring and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual of integrity to manage the financial administration of Mothers’Union, Diocese of Salisbury. You will need to be familiar with accountancy and financial basics, (including spreadsheets) and willing to participate actively in Trustee board discussions. Internet and telephone access is required and you can work from home with access to our Salisbury office two days a week as necessary.
You do not need to have held a formal treasurer role before, but you will be good with figures, familiar with accountancy and financial management basics including spreadsheets, on-line banking, quarterly and annual financial statements and preparing budgets. We are looking for a clear communicator who is willing to participate actively in the Trustee board discussions and to contribute to the broader promotion of Mothers’ Union in the Diocese. Internet and telephone access is required and you can work from home with access to our Salisbury Office two days a week as necessary. The role is voluntary with a commitment of about 10 - 16hrs a month plus Trustee meetings. Reasonable expenses will be paid.
