Reading this week's prayers is Brenda Woodrow. "Hello I am Brenda Woodrow. I live in the north of the diocese just outside Marlborough and I am an Ordinand studying at Sarum College. God willing I will be ordained on 29th June this year. I am looking forward to serving my curacy in the Savernake Team Benefice."
Reading this week's prayers is Shelma Vaughan " Hi I'm Shelma theatre nurse, wife, and mother of three, I am also currently an ordinand at Sarum College. After being ordained in June, I am really excited at the prospect of taking up my curacy at the Wareham Benefice in Dorset. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dogs, reading and doing a variety of crafts."
Reading this week's prayers is Sophie Ferguson. "Hello, my name is Sophie Ferguson. My husband and I both grew up here in Salisbury. We have two small children and enjoying watching them grow. We are also enjoying the chaos of that. I enjoy cold water swimming, gardening, and mostly coffee. I am completing my Ma at Sarum College, where I have been training for ministry. I have been invited to serve as Assistant Curate at Salisbury Cathedral and in the benefice of Harnham. I will begin that role at the end of June this year after ordination as a Deacon."
This week's prayers are being read by Jan Brown, "Hi I am Jan Brown, LLM in the Knowlton Circle Benefice where I have ministered and worshipped for over twenty years. I am also an Ordinand looking to be Ordained on 29th June having been allowed just the one year pathway - which has been both challenging and fun but certainly very busy!"
Reading this week's prayers is Ash Liddington. "Hi, I’m Ash Liddington, husband to Heidi and proud dad to a wonderful son and daughter. I’m currently an ordinand and, God willing, will be ordained deacon in June. I’m really excited to begin serving my curacy at the Parish of Wyke Regis in Weymouth. In my spare time, I love getting outdoors for walks, being a bit silly with my kids, building LEGO models, and visiting historic places."
Reading this week's prayers is David Pain. David is Diocesan Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Diocesan Board of Finance. In his spare time, David love's cooking for friends and family, live music, walking and cycling.
Reading this week's prayers is Gary Waldron. "I am a deacon, serving in Broadstone St John's, a suburb of Poole, Dorset. I am a friend, a husband to Sam, a father to two, a son, a brother, and a professed member of the Franciscan Third Order. God willing, I will be ordained in June this year and then look forward to continuing to serve the wonderful people of Broadstone as Priest, and continue to follow, in the best way I can, God's call on my life."
Reading this week's prayers is Mark Rathbone. "I’m Mark Rathbone and I am married to Elizabeth, with one grown-up son, Tim. I am an LLM at Lytchett Minster and St Dunstan’s Upton, where I enjoy preaching, leading services and doing pastoral work. As a Trustee of the Poole-Wau Partnership, I recently travelled to South Sudan."
Reading this week's prayers is Beverley Sproats. "My name is Revd Beverley Sproats. I’m the Rector of St John’s Parish Church, Jersey and the Safeguarding Lead for Jersey Deanery. I enjoy Parkrun, sea swimming and bellringing."
Reading this week's prayers is Jenny Nelson. My name is Revd Jenny Nelson, and I serve as the Rector of Bradford on Avon Holy Trinity, Westwood and Wingfield. I enjoy the breadth and depth of parish ministry in this place, which includes our Choral Eucharist, fresh expression services of Chuppa, and In the Round. I love meeting people where they are, including with our local school communities through the Growing Faith Foundation programme. On days off, I enjoy listening to jazz, choral and orchestral music, and I love spending time outdoors paddleboarding, cycling, and walking along the Avon with family and friends.
