Reading this week's prayers is Dawn Evans. Dawn is the Parish Safeguarding Administrator at St Paul’s Church, Salisbury, amongst her other roles as Church Administrator and PA to Rev Can Craig Ryalls. Dawn has been at St Paul’s since 2017 following a move from Liverpool with her husband and their two daughters.
Reading this week's prayer is Robyn Golden-Hann. Robyn is a third year curate at St Aldhelm's church in Poole; a former stonemason, in her previous career she spent ten years working on the restoration of Salisbury cathedral.
Reading this week's prayers is Samantha Martell. Mother Samantha Martell SCP is the Vicar of Alderney one of the Channel Islands. She is an ex-pig farmer, married to Jonathan, and they have adult twin sons, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Reading this week's prayers is Georgie Polius. Georgie is an Education services Assistant, Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education. She worships at St Francis Church Salisbury and is a Lifegroup leader.
Reading this week's prayers is Jake Eggertsen. Jake is Rector of St James' Trowbridge and St Leonard's Keevil, and Rural Dean of Bradford Deanery. He is married to Nicola, a Christian counsellor, and together they share the joy and chaos of raising three children and keeping up with their spirited labradoodle, Ginny.
Reading this week's prayers is Neil Biles. Neil is Town Centre Chaplain based at St Mary’s Church, Weymouth with a passion to share Jesus through cake, coffee and chat.
Reading this week's prayers is Rachel Firth. Rachel is a Licensed Lay Minister in the Benefice of St Mary’s Broughton Gifford, All Saints, Great Chalfield, and St Katharine’s, Holt. She is also a psychotherapist and counsellor in private practice, an enthusiast gardener and fan of her 6 grandchildren.
Reading our prayers this week is Jordan Betts. Jordan is the new associate vicar at SML Poole. Jordan is new to the diocese and moved from Sheffield to Poole just before Christmas with his wife Eleanor and 3-year-old son, Noah. Jordan is originally from Walsall in the West Midlands, he loves food (particularly curry!), music and swimming. Jordan is excited for the new challenges ahead and to embark on the Journey of’ growing adventurous disciples’ with the wonderful people at SML.
Reading this week's prayers is Rachma Abbott. Rachma is Rector of the benefice of Lyneham and Woodhill in north Wiltshire, shortly moving on for pastures unknown. This will be a lovely role for someone. She still worries about saying names correctly in these prayers!
Reading this week's prayers is Matt Smith. "My name is Matt and my wife, Abi, and I have four children and currently live in a place called Holy City so I think that should count for something. I help to run a couple of non-profit Waffle Houses that are intent on tackling loneliness by getting people waffling. Recently, we have teamed up with the Diocese of Salisbury ahead of a new Waffle House in Lyme Regis in early 2025, to pioneer a new approach to community working that focuses on social health."
